The hike will begin at 10:00 AM at the intersection of Halfway Pond Road and Circle Drive in Myles Standish State Forest. Plenty of parking is available.
The hike to Redbrook will take about 2 hours. Redbrook is celebrating National Trails Day with food and a number of events. We will stay no more than 2 hours then begin our 2 hour hike back by another route.
Those interested can meet for breakfast at Panera Bread at the Shops at Five (south on exit 5 off Rte 3) at 8am. After breakfast, around 9:15, we will meet at the main entrance to Myles Standish State Forest on Long Pond Rd for those needing help to the starting point. We will caravan for the main parking area at 9:30.
This hike is approximately 9 miles with varying degrees of difficulty so please plan accordingly.
While this is a free event, registration is REQUIRED
