Hatha and Hike

Join Hatha Yoga instructor Maureen Francis the first Wednesday of every month in the Community Conservation Barn for an hour of relaxing yoga, followed by a light hike led by Wildlands Trust staff. No experience necessary. Please bring a yoga mat, small blanket, and dress comfortably.

Hatha yoga, the most widely practice form of yoga in America, concentrates on physical health and mental well-being. Hatha yoga uses bodily postures, breathing techniques, and meditation with the goal of bringing about a sound, healthy body and a clear, peaceful mind. The postures we will practice work to stretch and align the body, promoting balance, flexibility, and circulation.
