Wildlands needs your help!
Join Wildlands Trust stewardship staff Zoë and Owen to finish cutbacks along the field edge and burn brush. All experience levels are welcome, and no registration is required!
Work will include clearing the field edges with hand snips, loppers, and hand saws to protect our pollinator meadow. Afterwards we will burn the brush piles. The meadow grows back every spring and supports a wide variety of insect, bird, and plant species through the fall.
The volunteer day will last from 10am-1pm. Volunteers are free to come and go as they please. Questions? Contact Stewardship Programs Manager Zoë Smiarowski at zsmiarowski@wildlandstrust.org.
*Please note that the location of this VolunTuesday has changed from Striar Snake to Davis Douglas Farm*
