VolunTuesdays - Striar Snake River Preserve

Wildlands needs your help!

Join Wildlands Trust stewardship staff Zoë and Owen to cutback the trails at Striar Snake River Preserve. All experience levels are welcome, and registration isn’t required! 

Work will include lopping, hand sawing, and hand snipping. Striar Snake River Preserve offers 84 acres of river and forest habitat in the Taunton River watershed with Snake River frontage.

The volunteer day will last from 10am-1pm. Volunteers are free to come and go as they please. Questions? Contact Stewardship Programs Manager Zoë Smiarowski at zsmiarowski@wildlandstrust.org. 

Parking:

What to Wear and Bring: 

  • Sturdy, closed-toed shoes 

  • Water, 1-2 bottles 

  • Snacks 

  • Work gloves (If you have them, we will provide work gloves to anyone who needs them) 

Restrictions: 

  • Ages 14+ 

  • No pets
