Join Wildlands Trust and the Paskamansett Bird Club on a birding hike at Hoyt-Hall Preserve! This hike will take frequent stops to see, listen to, and identify bird species! We will traverse 1.7 miles of heavily rooted, rocky, and narrow trails encompassing steep sections and bog boards. In the event of a postponement, the rain date is Thursday, October 9, from 8 AM to 10 AM. Registration is required for this free event.

Parking:
Meet at Hoyt-Hall Preserve, 820 Careswell St, Marshfield, MA 02050. On-site parking is available and may require cars to double park.
From Route 3: Take Exit 22 (old Exit 11) and merge onto MA-14 E. At traffic circle, take second exit to continue onto MA-14 E. At fork, bear left onto MA-139 W/Church Street. Continue on MA-139 W for roughly 2 miles. Parking is on the left.
What to Wear & Bring (Required):
Sturdy, closed-toed shoes
Warm, weather-appropriate clothing
Snacks
Water
Bug spray and/or bug net (this trail can be buggy!)
Encouraged - binoculars, a bird ID book, and a camera
