At Hike & Hops, explore beautiful trails and local breweries throughout Southeastern MA with Wildlands Trust! This month, join us on the trails of Hoyt-Hall Preserve in Marshfield, one of Wildlands’ newer trail systems around Long Tom Pond near Duxbury Harbor, for a 2-mile hike. Learn about the history of the preserve and some interesting natural features with volunteer Michael Arsenault and Stewardship Manager Erik Boyer. Afterwards, you are welcome to join us at the nearby Stellwagen Beer Company (about a 10-minute drive) to enjoy their craft beer and spacious taproom. Wildlands will provide snacks, and there may be a food truck option at the taproom TBA. All ages that can walk 2+ miles are welcome. Kids are welcome in the taproom.
Sturdy boots and plenty of water are recommended for this hike. Dogs are welcome on-leash on the trails, but are not allowed in the taproom so please plan accordingly.
Parking is at the Winslow House, 634 Careswell Street, Marshfield. Please arrive by 12:45 pm for a 1:00 pm hike start.
