Enjoy the first full day of winter in New England with the Trail Guy Malcolm MacGregor.
This month, hike 4-5 miles around the Knapp Town Forest and Mass Audubon’s North Hill Wildlife Sanctuary with Malcolm. You’ll enjoy a mix of forested areas and old cranberry bogs along the way.
Ages 12+. Dogs not allowed on this hike. Please bring/wear plenty of water, sturdy shoes/boots, warm clothing including hats, gloves, etc., and snacks.
Parking: There are parking areas on both sides of Mayflower Street – please meet at the parking area on the East side of Mayflower Street (on your right if you’re coming from 3A / the police station.
Malcolm MacGregor is many things, including a Doctor of Physics, a member of the Town of Plymouth Planning Board, and retired professor of physics and GIS at Mass Maritime, but to us, he’s the Trail Guy. Malcolm has hiked and mapped the trails of Plymouth and surrounding towns extensively in his free time as a volunteer. He leads hikes for Wildlands Trust every month.
