Every spring, amphibians of all kinds emerge from hibernation to flock to vernal pools to lay eggs in these mostly predator-free waters. Striar Conservancy has a number of these important habitat types to explore. Join Wetlands Scientists Carlos Fragata and Nicholas Shuler and Wildlands Trust Volunteer Rob MacDonald for a guided night hike at Striar this April. We’ll be looking and listening for signs of amphibian life awakening from their long winter slumber. All ages.
