Volunteer Trail Work Day, Brockton

  • Hancock Elementary School 125 Pearl Street Brockton, MA, 02301 United States (map)

Wildlands Trust Stewardship is looking for volunteers to help with a variety of tasks for all ability levels. Anyone is welcome, no matter your experience with trail work! We'll be primarily focused on replacing old boardwalk decking with some sturdier salvaged materials. Additionally, volunteers may opt to help with trash + litter clean-up from the site. The property was acquired the from Brockton Audubon Society in 2011 and was originally created to protect birds and inspire interest in nature in the local community. Help us to improve trail conditions so the preserve's mission can be continued for years to come!

The plan is to start the workday at 10 AM and volunteers are invited to stay as long as they're able. Wildlands Trust stewardship staff will be on site for the entirety of the day. Please contact Stewardship Coordinator Zoë Smiarowski at zsmiarowski@wildlandstrust.org with any questions!
