Summer of Service - Trail Care

  • Wildlands Trust, Inc. 675 Long Pond Road Plymouth, MA 02360 (map)

Need community service hours for school? Considering a career in the environmental field? Just want to meet new people and get outside? If any of these sound like you, make your summer a Summer of Service with Wildlands Trust! These free, flexible, one-day programs will equip high school students (ages 14-19) with the basic skills and knowledge that underpin all conservation work—all in a relaxed, introductory format. Come to just one or two programs, or, better yet, join them all! Students who come to three or more will receive Wildlands swag!

Start your summer on the right path with our Trail Care program on Saturday, June 29!

Join us at Emery Preserve in Plymouth, where our stewardship team will show you how to clear and mark trails, a key component of public land management. The day will last for about 2 hours—come between 9:45 and 10:00 am for introductions, and stay until noon for a snack!
