Summer of Service - Carpentry

  • The Stewardship Training Center 549 Mast Road Plymouth, MA, 02360 United States (map)

Need community service hours for school? Considering a career in the environmental field? Just want to meet new people and get outside? If any of these sound like you, make your summer a Summer of Service with Wildlands Trust! These free, flexible, one-day programs will equip high school students (ages 14-19) with the basic skills and knowledge that underpin all conservation work—all in a relaxed, introductory format. Come to just one or two programs, or, better yet, join them all! Students who come to three or more will receive Wildlands swag!

Build out your conservation skill set with our Carpentry program on Thursday, July 27!

Join us at our new Stewardship Training Center in Plymouth, where you’ll learn to build benches, use power tools, and read carpentry plans. The day will last for about 2 hours—come between 9:45 and 10:00 am for introductions, and stay until noon for a snack!
