VolunTuesdays - North Fork Preserve

  • Wyman Meadows Conservation Area 1715 Plymouth Street Bridgewater, MA, 02324 United States (map)

Wildlands needs your help!

Join Wildlands Trust stewardship staff at our North Fork Preserve to finish reestablishing the historic trail for public use. All experience levels are welcome, and no registration is required!

Work will be a continuation of the March 5th VolunTuesday at North Fork. Potential tasks will include clearing a new section of trail, trail blazing, and trash removal. Please check back closer to March 26th for an updated list of tasks. At the project’s completion, a 1.5-mile trail will create public access to North Fork Preserve for the first time since Wildlands acquired it in 2001. The preserve comprises 41 acres of diverse woodland habitat along the banks of the Wild and Scenic Taunton River. The trail will begin at Wyman Meadow Conservation Area, a Town of Bridgewater preserve featuring 55 acres of historic farmland.

Drop-in days will last from 10am-1pm. Volunteers are free to come and go as they please. Questions? Contact Stewardship Programs Manager Zoë Smiarowski at zsmiarowski@wildlandstrust.org.
