Wildlands needs your help!

We’re back at North Fork Preserve! Join Wildlands Trust stewardship staff to add bog boards, remove trash, and trail blaze at our newest trail. All experience levels are welcome, and no registration is required! 

Work will include building bog boards, carrying boards out to the trail, removing dumped trash, and trail blazing (pending dry weather). At the project’s completion, a 1.5-mile trail will create public access to North Fork Preserve for the first time since Wildlands acquired it in 2001. The preserve comprises 41 acres of diverse woodland habitat along the banks of the Wild and Scenic Taunton River. The trail will begin at Wyman Meadow Conservation Area, a Town of Bridgewater preserve featuring 55 acres of historic farmland.

Parking: 

Park at Wyman Meadow Conservation Area. Click here for Google Maps location. The nearest address is 1715 Plymouth Street, Bridgewater. An unmarked road off the south side of Plymouth Street will take you to the parking area.  

What to Wear and Bring: 

• Sturdy, closed-toed shoes 

• Water, 1-2 bottles 

• Snacks 

• Work gloves (if you have them, we will provide work gloves to anyone who needs them) 

Restrictions: 

• Ages 12+ 

• No pets
