Wildlands needs your help!
Join Wildlands Trust stewardship staff at Cow Tent Preserve in Duxbury to re-route a short, washed out section of trail. All experience levels are welcome, and no registration is required!
Work will include clearing brush, digging new tread and covering up the former trail. Long sleeves + neck gaiters are encouraged as the property has a significant amount of poison ivy that participants will more than likely come into contact with. Staff will provide IvyX and Tecnu.
The volunteer day will last from 10am-1pm. Volunteers are free to come and go as they please. Questions? Contact Stewardship Programs Manager Zoë Smiarowski at zsmiarowski@wildlandstrust.org.
Parking:
From Route 3: Take Exit 22 (old Exit 11). Turn right onto Route 14 East toward Duxbury. Bear right to stay on Route 14. At lights, turn left on Route 3A North.
What to Wear and Bring:
Sturdy, closed-toed shoes
Water, 1-2 bottles
Snacks
Work gloves (if you have them, we will provide work gloves to anyone who needs them)
