Buzzards Bay Coalition, Mass Audubon, Wareham Land Trust, and Wildlands Trust invite you to participate in a two-part community workshop to help shape the future of the Marks Cove Conservation Area! Click here to view the StoryMap. This is a free event and registration is encouraged.
Here is what you can expect:
Part 1: Site Walk & Talk
Sunday, March 2nd at 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Marks Cove Conservation Area, 37 Nicholas Dr, Wareham, MA, 02571
Join us for a guided tour of the area led by the project partners, where you’ll have the opportunity to share your ideas. We’ll discuss potential uses for the space, community needs, opportunities for climate resiliency, and challenges of the site. Your feedback will play a key role in guiding the design process.
Part 2: Public Meeting
Tuesday, March 4th at 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
Wareham Free Library - Community Meeting Room; 59 Marion Rd, Wareham, MA, 02571
In this follow-up session, we’ll dive deeper into the ecological restoration of wetlands, review conceptual designs, and incorporate your input to refine those designs. Dinner will be provided.
We look forward to collaborating with you! All ideas, questions, and comments are welcome. While participation in both days is encouraged, you are welcome to attend one or both events.
