Join hike leaders Betsy Hall and Skip Stuck for our last full moon hike of the year! Walking the beach at Shifting Lots Preserve will provide open skies for a full view of the moon. Afterwards, enjoy hot chocolate in the parking lot before heading home.

From Route 3: Take Exit 3 (old Exit 2) and head east to the stop sign at Route 3A. Turn left on Route 3A and go about 2 miles. Turn right onto Ellisville Road at the second entrance, then turn left down Salt Marsh Lane (gravel). Drive to the end of Salt Marsh Lane to parking area.
What to Wear & Bring:
Sturdy, closed-toed shoes
Warm clothes - it is windy at the ocean! We recommend covering all exposed skin.
Thermos for hot chocolate - optional

2 miles of walking on sand and rocks
Restrictions:
No pets
Limit 15 participants
