Winter Forestry Hike

Join renowed forester Phil Benjamin and Wildlands Trust volunteer Rob MacDonald for a winter hike on the Indian Head River Trail (IHRT). We'll discuss winter forest ecology, how to identify trees in the winter, and forest history of the area while admiring the sights and sounds of the IHRT.

Luddam's Ford Park (Pembroke): 418 W Elm St, Pembroke

What to Wear & Bring:

  • Sturdy, closed-toed shoes

  • Water

  • Weather-appropriate clothing

What to Expect:

  • 4 miles of hiking with varied terrain

  • Experienced hikers to guide you

Restrictions:

  • Ages 12+

  • No pets

  • Limit 15 participants

Outdoor programs are weather permitting. Cancellations and postponements due to weather will be announced online and registered attendees will be notified via email.
