Join Wildlands Trust for a morning hike at Dixon Preserve at Hio Hill! Volunteer hike leader Ryley Newton and Programming Coordinator Amy Burt will lead you over 0.85 miles of steep terrain winding pitch pine barrens and large glacial erratics. Begin the steep hike and be rewarded by seeing the sun over Cape Cod Bay before hiking back down in the morning light. Headlamps and/or flashlights are required with this early start! Registration is required for this free event.

Parking:
Meet at Dixon Preserve at Hio Hill (1190 Old Sandwich Road Plymouth, MA 02360) where limited parking is available. Please park near one another to maximize parking space.
What to Wear & Bring (Required):
Headlamp and/or flashlight (must have as we are starting in the early light!)
Sturdy, closed-toed shoes
Snacks
Water
Bug spray
Weather-appropriate clothing
What to Expect:
Hiking a steep ascent in the early sun with a headlamp and/or flashlight, then spending time to enjoy the view before returning via a steep descent
Wet trails with early morning condensation
Wildlands Trust volunteers and staff to guide you!
