Kealy O’Brien makes her mark on the conservation world from inside Wildlands’ office. Organizations like Wildlands Trust require continuous financial planning and record-keeping in order to thrive, and Kealy supports us with her meticulous bookkeeping skills. She is a part-time consultant through Brennan and Fournier, a small company that provides professional accounting services for nonprofit organizations, and she says she appreciates the welcoming sense of belonging that she feels among the staff at Wildlands Trust. Outside of work, Kealy is a busy parent of two teenagers and an energetic Labrador Retriever. She loves exploring Wildlands’ properties and State Forests, but her favorite place is London, where she studied for a semester in college. At home, she enjoys the mindful practice of needlepoint.
Kealy is a graduate of Ithaca College, with a degree in finance. She began her career working in downtown Boston, including a position at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), before spending a decade away from work to focus on being a mom. When she decided to return to her accounting career, she signed on with the local firm Brennan and Fournier. Kealy has been providing financial services for Wildlands Trust since 2016.
