Retreat House Manager (Part-Time)

Wildlands Trust is looking to hire an 8- to 10-hour-per-week House Manager for the Stewardship Training Center (STC) in Plymouth. The STC is a 12,000-sf retreat center located in the beautiful Halfway Pond Conservation Area. Each year, the STC hosts 10 to 12 group retreats focused on environmental conservation work. The House Manager will respond to inquiries, manage reservations, and prepare the house for each group by overseeing cleaning, set-up, and room assignments.
At times, the House Manager may need to be on-site to greet guests. The House Manager will ensure that each group is aware of house rules and procedures and will assist with coordinating catering and/or food delivery. Upon group departure, the House Manager will coordinate linen and cleaning services.
This is a perfect job for a retired professional looking for an interesting part-time position. Preferred candidate will have business or hospitality experience and must be physically able to carry out the duties of this position.

Currently, we have ten full-time and four part-time staff carrying out the day-to-day activities of the organization. We also have interns, seasonal employees and volunteers who assist us on a regular basis. Our Board of Directors comprises 19 committed individuals from the communities we serve.
