Mindful Meditation at Great South Pond

Join Wildlands Trust’s volunteer hike leader Betsy Hall for a mindful meditation to Great South Pond! This meditation is for both new and experienced meditators. All are welcome. We will hike 3.25 miles of winding trails and visit Great South Pond! Registration is required for this free event.

Parking:

Meeting at the parking lot of the Armstrong Skating Arena (103 Long Pond Road, Plymouth, MA 02360). Please drive to the back of the parking lot. As soon as you enter the parking lot, it will be easy to see cars at the back.

What to Wear & Bring:

  • Sturdy, closed-toed shoes

  • Weather-appropriate clothing for outdoor activities

  • Water

  • Snack

  • Sunblock or sun protection

  • Bug repellent

What to Expect:

  • 1.5 hours of standing and walking mindfulness practices

  • Hiking 3.25 miles through winding trails

  • An open, accepting, safe space where can be yourself

  • Wildlands Trust volunteers and staff to guide you!

Restrictions:

  • Ages 18 +

  • No pets

  • Maximum 15 hikers

  • Minimum 5 hikers

Leader Bio:

Betsy Hall is a meditation teacher with over 25 years of experience. She trained under renowned instructor Jose Silva, whose techniques have been studied by millions of people around the world. Betsy has also studied with Zen Masters, Buddhist teachers, and Christian leaders. She loves to lead hikes in the forest because she believes that nature is one of the greatest meditation teachers. Betsy gently leads her participants in the art of self-discovery and delight. Her career as a teacher and guidance counselor is an essential part of her foundation as a meditation guide.

Outdoor programs are weather permitting. Cancellations and postponements due to weather will be announced online and registered attendees will be notified via email.
