Wildlands Trust — Paul Gallerani

Paul Gallerani

Assistant STC House Manager - ☎️ 📧

You’re more likely to find Paul Gallerani biking through the woods than sitting on the couch. So it’s little surprise that Paul is staying active in retirement, lending his diverse talents to Wildlands Trust.

“The woods are my church,” Paul says. His childhood home sat beside Estabrook Woods, 1,700 acres of forests and wetlands in Carlisle and Concord, Massachusetts. When Paul wasn’t playing sports, he was playing in these woods, ice skating on the ponds in winter and catching frogs in the vernal pools in spring. His love of nature endured at Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York, where he spent his free time fishing on the Susquehanna River. After graduating with a business degree, Paul managed liquor and grocery stores in Orleans, Wareham, Brockton, and Rochester and later worked in the financial sector while taking home inspection classes.

When Paul moved to Plymouth in 1993, he relished the opportunity to be a kid again, running, fishing, and cross-country skiing in Myles Standish State Forest. He swears by Wildlands trails as the best around for mountain biking! Compelled to give back, Paul started volunteering on Wildlands trails—first on an ad hoc basis and later through VolunTuesdays. As Assistant STC House Manager, Paul leverages his home inspection skills to help STC House Manager Judy Savage host programs and rentals at the Stewardship Training Center. Paul retired from his finance career in 2024 to spend more time with his wife; two adult children; parents; Riley, a Shar Pei/lab mix (affectionately known as a “shlab”); and two cats Zoë and Dexter, along with chickens and koi in his yard.
